StarMet

Review by eFreeware

StarMet is a lifestyle app from New Joy Times Limited that puts you in touch with psychics for readings on the questions you are carrying around. It has been on Google Play since February 2023 and has passed 100,000 installs, with a 4.4 average across 744 ratings. The download is free.

The pitch is straightforward: rather than booking an appointment or visiting a storefront, you browse a roster of advisors and ask for insight on love, career, decisions, your life path or a dream that has been nagging at you. The developer describes the advisors as expert and authentic, and says the app is the best way to clear negative energy and get insight from real psychics. Those are marketing words, and I would treat them as such, but the underlying idea is easy to understand.

What makes it worth a look is the format. You can start a live chat when you want an answer now, or send your question and wait for a written reading. It fits around your schedule, and it does not ask you to believe anything before you try it.

Live chat and readings that arrive on your schedule

The feature the developer leads with is speed. StarMet offers live chat so you can consult a psychic immediately, and for written readings it promises delivery within 24 hours, with the quickest arriving in about an hour. That range is wide, and the developer presents the one-hour figure as the fast end rather than a guarantee, so I would plan around the 24-hour window and be pleasantly surprised if a reply lands sooner.

The live chat option is the part that interests me most. Some questions feel urgent, and typing them out in a chat while someone responds is a different experience from submitting a form and waiting. It also means you can clarify what you meant if the first answer misses the point.

The developer also says psychics are standing by around the clock. If that holds, it means late nights and odd hours are not a barrier, which matters for anyone whose free time does not fall inside normal business hours.

Topics and tools beyond a single reading

The subject list is broad. Love and relationships, career questions, decision making, life path and dream analysis are all named, and the app is meant to give specific insight no matter what you ask. That last part is a claim rather than a promise I can verify, but the range of topics suggests the app is meant for general life questions rather than one narrow niche.

Alongside the readings, StarMet lists a set of tools: chakra cleaning, reiki healing, blockage clearing, tarot, horoscope and angel insight. These sit next to the consultation side rather than replacing it, so you can approach the app through a horoscope or a tarot draw if a full reading feels like more than you want.

What the app asks of you

StarMet is free to download and carries no advertising. It does offer in-app purchases. Prices are not laid out, and I would not assume anything about what a given reading costs until you see it in the app.

On privacy, the experience is anonymous and confidential, and a customer service team is available if something goes wrong. For an app built on personal questions, that assurance is central rather than incidental. The content rating is Teen.

Satisfaction is also promised, which is the kind of claim that sounds reassuring and means very little until you have a specific problem. Treat the confidentiality commitment as the important one and the satisfaction line as marketing.

Getting a useful answer

If you try StarMet, the quality of what you get back will depend heavily on how you ask. A vague question about your future invites a vague answer. Naming the situation, the people involved and what you are actually deciding between gives a psychic something concrete to work with, and the developer's own framing about specific insight points the same way.

Match the format to the question. Live chat suits something you want to talk through and refine in the moment. A written reading suits a question you can state clearly in one go and are happy to sit with for a day.

It also helps to go in with realistic expectations. This is a service built on interpretation and reflection, not on verifiable prediction, and the app is a way to reach people who offer that kind of guidance. If you are curious about what a reading feels like, a single low-commitment question is a better starting point than a long list of them.

A considered choice for life questions

StarMet does one thing and does it in a clean package: it connects you with psychics for readings on love, career, decisions, life path and dreams, with live chat for immediate conversations and written readings that arrive within a day. The 4.4 average from 744 ratings suggests a reasonable level of satisfaction among people who have used it, though that number tells you nothing about whether a particular reading will resonate with you.

The app suits someone who wants private, remote guidance on a personal question and is comfortable paying for it through in-app purchases. It also suits the casually curious, who can start with a horoscope or a tarot draw before committing to a full consultation.

The trade-offs are the ones you would expect. Delivery can take up to 24 hours unless you catch a psychic in live chat, and the value of any reading rests on your own judgment. If that sounds like a fair exchange for a private conversation about something that has been on your mind, StarMet is a reasonable place to start.
